1-Today I ate a rainbow (Inspired by Today I ate a rainbow)
- They will learn how to be responsible for their health and how much food affects their energy, mood and strength. They will be encouraged with songs and activities to eat all the rainbow colors of fruits and veggies everyday.
- They will learn the benefit of each color of food, and play the “ Stick the food “ game, where they will stick each food on the part of the body that it benefits.
- We will also have them try different colors and textures and ways of eating veggies in class and we will keep you posted on what worked best for you child.
- WE will read them an interactive story that will make them eager to eat that rainbow!!

2-The nutrition detective (inspired by the dr. David L. katz)
- They will learn key ingredients to look out for in any label as warning signs to not buy it, and 5 easy clues to help them identify healthy from unhealthy food, so they will be helping you outnext time you go grocery shopping, they will be officially certified as nutrition detectives.
- At the same time they will be encouraged to eat more real food and reduce the amount of packaged food altogether with fun interactive ways
- We will also put all our efforts and prayers in making this a time where you will hear your child saying “I don’t want to put junk food in my body anymore”.
- They will get a take along nutrition detective guide, and a magnifying glass to get them ready to implement their nutrition detective skill next time they go to a grocery

- We will introduce them to “ traffic light eating” where they will learn what they should go ahead and eat a lot of, go slow, or stay away
- We will shoe them some fun ways to add physical activity to their day even when they are staying home.

- We will also work on eating our best when dinning out, like having a veggie pizza instead of cheese, or ordering a side dish of salad
- We will try to get them to understand the difference between whole grains and processed grains, and get them asking for that whole grain bread.
